How old are you?Do your friends have a myspace?How about negotiating?Making your profile private,letting her observe it once in a while to make sure you aren't doing anything bad or stuff like that.If you don't want that you don't need a Myspace.You could get in.....some bad situations otherwise.

%26amp; this may be bad advice, but just do your myspace by yourself. you dont have to tell anyone. just tell your mom your emailing your friend. my mom didnt find out til a few days ago cuz i told her and she didnt care. she knows im not dub enough to release personal info. and im already 16 and have well over 32,000 friends. even my teacher is in my friendlist. just hide it from her. BUT BE CAREFUL.

i would jest tell her that its safe and free i have had a myspace for a long time now and its been very fun there is noting wrong with myspace as long as you dont give away personal info also to try to convince your mom you could tell her that she could look over your myspace until she feels safe about you having one

my parents wouldn't let me get a myspace either, so I ended up getting a facebook instead. its starting to get a lot more popular and you can tell your mom that it has a lot more security than myspace. you can edit your privacy to make it so that nobody can even see that you have a facebook unless their your friends. if i were you I would just wait a few years to get a myspace and get a facebook instead, b/c it is safer to use
