Myspace :(?

this stinks. my parents won't allow me on myspace or anything like it. ex. talking online with strangers (vmk, habbo hotel) things like that b/c when i was about 9 i was chatting with this older man on pogo.com and i was banned from the computer for about 6 months. my parents were really angry at me. so now they don't have much trust in me. altho i have been on vmk once and my mom caught me and i got in trouble.

what can i do to get their trust back and go on myspace and facebook and things like that??

p.s. i might get my own computer but they aren't too sure and r afraid i might do something wrong but if i do get one ill have a blocker on it :(.

please help!

i got the same crap too! what i did was convince them that i would only talk to my friends and ONLY my closest! ive changed my account and set it into private to make sure they have my trust! i also told them that it helps and taught me alot like typing faster, and learning about HTML, a bunch of other things too [:

well personally i think your parents are doing that to protect you, and it kinda is your fault cuz you shouldn't of been tlking to a older man anyways. so you should just go on the computer and not go on myspace or anything and not chat to other ppl, then when you parents see that you aren't doing anything bad, get there trust bck :)
