Myspace problem!?

my myspace is set on private under account settings, but the box that says 'must know e-mail adress or last name 'is unchecked but when people try to add me it says they either have to know my email address or last name. so im going to give up on the whole private myspace thing and make mine public. but im trying to find that option and i dont know where it is!! so my question is, how do you change your private myspace to a public one?

Go to your home page and then into account settings, privacy settings and at the bottom it should have a place for you to check that says public, check that. Don't forget to update changes..
