Vote to keep MySpace!!!!!NOW?

Myspace is safe for teenagers, but dangerous for dumb teenagers. Coarse' we only hear about he dumb ones.

Tom can't be sued either, honey. He sold myspace for $580 Million a couple years ago. A marketing corporation owns it now. Same with youtube.

For my answer, i shall say "meh"

If you read the terms and conditions (which you have to agree to to join) there is no way "Tom" (which isn't really a person, just a acronym for some techie) can be sued by somebody that had a sexual predetor come after them.

Yes, myspace should be kept ( no dobut it in my mind it will be)... and People should keep better tabs on their children, or not be so immature, or try and act mature on there...

It's disgusting to see 11-12 year old girls posting half naked pictures of themselves on there...

My Answer Is Between Yes And No. So my final desicion is "NO". People can live without it really easy.

... I think you are askin us to agree w/ all the things you are asking ... and well I dont .... so here is my two cents

I think that Myspace is as safe as you make it ... dont get to personal w/ ppl online ever.

Myspace should be kept for sure ... if myspace goes, then xanga will go facebook will go bolt.com will go and eventually Yahoo! 360 too ... ppl just need to grow up

...Tom really couldn't be sued for sexual predators because if he can get sued for a website and he is not responsible for the content of what people do then you could say that the parents who allow their children to go outside in public and are seen by a predator and are eventually harmed by it they could be sued for endagerment...... seriously ... what a dumb question

Online dating is a bit stupid ... you can meet online and then date ... but puttin trust into someone who you only chat w/ online is a bit dumb .. that would be like falling in love w/ someone in china just because you exchanged a few i.m's

XoXo

Emily

Myspace is safe for teenagers, way to keep in touch with friends, family and classmates and making more friends but you only add your friends instead making new friends. Also you can change your background, online now, contact table etc.....First ask parent permission before you get online, if say no or yes and don't tries to sneak around in library, school either friend house. No, you should not keep myspace account, if they lying about their age, they will terminate his/her accounts and you might be 14 and older to sign up for myspace account. dating online is not ok because it's not safe to meet new people and lots people lying about age, stealing identity etc.....

You can definitely keep myspace. I think that if you have properly instructed your children about how to conduct themselves online, and what information they should or should not give out, that no harm can be done.

If they are trying to meet girls or guys online, then definitely nip that one in the bud. That is when even good and smart kids can be duped. Unfortunately, where emotions are involved, we all get a little stupid sometimes. Tell them that they can have friends, but that's it. If they are old enough for a boyfriend or girlfriend, then they need to stick to schoolmates. (At least until they are adults)

I have been using myspace for years and find it an excellent resource to keep up with current fads and trends, as well as find it an excellent networking tool!
